START A CAREER IN WATER TECHNOLOGY

At this moment Wetsus Academy offers a two-year scientific program in Water technology on master level. The program focuses on the development and design of water related processes. The main added value of the course lies in the multidisciplinary use of biotechnology and separation technology. English is the official language at the Wetsus Academy.

The program is the joint responsibility of the Wageningen University, the University Twente and the University of Groningen. These three universities have combined their state-of-the-art expertise in a single program that is offered in the city of Leeuwarden at the research institute Wetsus. The program prepares students with a Bachelor of Sciences degree for a professional position in the broad area of Water Technology.

The program enables students to complement their Bachelor of Sciences diploma with scientific knowledge and capabilities that they need for a successful career in the dynamic international setting of business and research. Moreover, this program will uniquely qualify you as the expert that is able to participate in resolving the global water issues and to achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

What is Wetsus Academy?

Wetsus Academy is a collaborative initiative of Wetsus, in which research institutes, companies and other organizations can participate and offer their state-of-the-art expertise in order to build capacity in the field of Water Technology.

At this moment Wageningen University, the University Twente and the University of Groningen participate in the Wetsus Academy and together they offer a multidisciplinary program in Water Technology. This program has been developed and is given by highly qualified (associate) professors of these three renowned Dutch universities.

The project Wetsus Academy, program in water technology is financed in part by the ministry of Economic Affairs, program "Pieken in de Delta" and the "Province of Friesland". Wetsus Academy has the ambition to develop more educational programs around the theme of water technology and to join the expertise of different (national and international) research institutes and organizations.
