Erasmus is the programme of the European Union for student exchange. Officially it is now called Life Long Learning, but still it referred to as Erasmus by many people. Erasmus makes it possible to carry out a part of your study programme at a university in another country. To make an exchange possible, a bilateral agreement is required between your department and the partner universities of Wetsus Academy, regarding your programme. Please, inform at the international offices of Wageningen, Twente and Groningen University for existing agreements for your programme. For your Erasmus stay, a learning agreement must be concluded between your department and the partner university. In this agreement the programme is defined that you will follow during your stay abroad. After you have finished your Erasmus stay you will be handed a Transcript of Records which will contain the courses you followed and the marks you obtained.
Cécile Cabrières from France (2013-2014)
I came in Wetsus Academy during six month for an Erasmus exchange. It was an amazing experience with a group of people of a difference nationality and culture with the same attraction for water technology. I developed during these six months my knowledge in water treatment and all the phenomena used in it (microbiology, transport phenomena, filtration etc.) which help me a lot after in my professional life.
Salome Calsat from France (2014-2015)
As a French student in a process engineering master, an Erasmus exchange at Wetsus Academy
was for me a good way to specialize in water technology. It was a real opportunity to complete
my studies and to get new job possibilities. I also improved my English, in a very international
group of students with very different backgrounds and cultures. My Erasmus semester will stay
a very good experience, for studies but also for discovering a beautiful country and amazing people.
